So the American Medical Association(AMA) does not believe there should be a government based health care option. It appears they are more concerned that insurance companies will go under. The same insurance companies that have “insured” the doctors a very generous lifestyle.
If you are poor, have bad insurance through your employer, are self employed or work in the arts, you would likely benefit from knowing you have a government based health care option available to you. It doesn’t mean the docs at the AMA have to use it.

"Me Need Health Insurance Now!!"
As for the insurance companies, whatever happened to survival of the fittest. The truth is the shitty companies that do everything they can to avoid paying for medical treatment will eventually re-structure itself or fold. And we may be left with the government insurance, Blue Cross, and one or two others. What is so wrong with that?
The only reason I can see the AMA opposing the President is that they are worried that they can no longer charge outrageous rates. Because insurance companies will feel they only have to pay what the government pays out. And the other side of it is millions of people can finally afford to get a check up and the medicines they need.
As I was playing this multiple choice question game with my son, a question came up with one of the possible answers being “soap on a rope.” He asked what that was. I said it was what it sounded like. But as quickly as I opened my mouth, I realized the kids usually use liquid soap.
horrible moment when soap got in your eyes. And God forbid the soap slid off and landed on a dust ball under the radiator. You could end up spending the rest of your shower, cleaning it off.
My son’s only exposure to a bar of soap is limited to the picture book about a boy named “David.” He’s a kid that constanly gets into trouble. I can remember reading the book and trying to skip over the section where David gets soap put in his mouth as punishment. But like the soap on the rope, he eventually asked, “dad, why does David have a bar of soap in his mouth?”
