For the most part, I try to write about topics that occur between my sons and I. What I’d like to share today does not directly relate to our relationship. It does however fit into the topic of bathroom humor/potty talk which seems non-stop.
On Thursday, I was using a colleagues private restroom, when I noticed the name of the company that made the toilet seat. If it had said, Gerber, Kohl, Toto, it would have been unremarkable. But it said, “CHURCH.” I had to do a double take to make sure I read it correctly. And then my mind started clicking away like a checker at the grocery store.
My six year old brain thought, ” OK, if they say I have to go to church, does this count? Go to Church once a week, heck I go every day. Make sure to drop something in the church basket. When you go to church, you have to sit in your pew-p.u.. Church is a place we sit and pray-it sure is.
